As part of the celebrations for Culture Night in Monaghan and Cavan we delighted to announce the first ‘live’ performance of our newly commissioned suite An Bealach Ar Ais in the stunning Kilmore Cathedral, Co Cavan on Friday 17th September 2021.

This suite was composed by Monaghan composer Michael Rooney. This piece will be performed by Music Generation ‘Cavan and Monaghan Ensemble’, who formed in June 2021 as part of the celebration for ‘Cruinniú na nÓg’.

The concert will also feature a performance from Michael Rooney and June Mc Cormack as part of our Dísréid ón bhaile concerts.
